Our Custom Jewelry Design Process

Choosing to create a custom jewelry piece is both exciting and often daunting. However, leave it to us the experts who are experienced at simplifying the process and making even the most complex jewelry designs possible.

Our jewelry designer will take your ideas, vision, drawings and images and work with you to create a design that will suit your unique style.

Once your jewelry design has been finalized, and an order placed, we will create a wax or computerized (CAD) model which displays different renderings of your piece. Images of your wax or CAD model will be sent to you for your approval, or you may request modifications to be made to your design.

Upon your final approval, our team will set your design in precious metal, gemstones and diamonds of your choice.  Your beautifully finished piece is then thoroughly inspected for impurities and other defects that may be found.

Unlike most jewelry found in the majority brick and mortar stores even online, our custom jewelry pieces are unique and are developed specifically to a person’s wants and desires.

When people come to our South Florida location, they are looking to craft a unique piece, such as an engagement ring.

Not at all. Here at Gregory’s Fine Jewelry, you’ll probably pay a lot LESS for a custom engagement ring than what you would buy at other stores for a generic piece because retail stores mark up their jewelry exponentially.

Once you have settled on your design, the process of making customized jewelry can begin. Most designs takes 4-5 weeks for completion from the time that the design has been finalized and a deposit has been made.

We recommend bringing a sketch, model, or picture of the design you would like to be crafted. We also recommend thinking about the type of diamond, gemstone, precious metals, and any other items you would like added to your custom piece of jewelry.

Yes, from sapphire to a ruby gemstone, you are only limited by your imagination.

 

We do. We accept orders from any state in the US, and most countries around the world (barring shipping restrictions). Although it’s always nice to work with your design/production company in person, technology such as Google Meet allows effortless communication around your project regardless of location.

There is no minimum order. We can produce or design only one piece of jewelry, or your entire collection. We do not  produce samples.
